Research Interests

The lab focuses on using computational modeling, bioinformatics, and image processing (computational biology) to understand complex biological processes such as cancer progression, angiogenesis, immune system dynamics, and tissue engineering. Our research is at the intersection of computer science, biology, and mathematics, where we use computational algorithms to model biological processes and predict effective treatments for the disease. Extensive multiscale computational modeling sheds light on important aspects of cancer progression and disease.
